Why would playing Risk make him feel ashamed? It’s baffling to me

What is the big deal about adults playing board games and staying home? I mean, going out dancing and seeing movies and eating fancy dinners is fun and all … but it stops being fun when you do it all the time. Life becomes boring if you always live it in the ON position. You need some normality to balance out the excitement, or it stops being exciting.

I’m pretty sure that’s why a lot of young actresses and actors burn out so fast. They’re encouraged to indulge themselves, then there comes a point where the party has to end and they don’t have anything to fall back on. They forget how to live like normal people and it’s sad.
